Books We Love: Baby Bear Sees Blue

It's my little man's turn to share a book he loves and Baby Bear Sees Blue by Ashley Wolff is at the top of his list!

Loving our copy at 18 months old.

This book is full of adorable illustrations while the prose pulls you in as you go on an adventure with Baby Bear as he discovers all sorts of colors in nature.

The pages are full of enough colorful images to hold his attention as I read the few lines on each one. We love to make sounds for the animals we see on each page and point out the colors he knows. 

"Baby Bear sees red"

It's always an adventure to follow Mama and Baby Bear on their fun day and learn many different colors, sounds, and smells and at the very end all of the colors come together when they discover a beautiful rainbow!

After following the fluttering, Baby Bear sees orange.

Our board book copy has stood the test of time and is still in one piece. I highly recommend this book for little ones of all ages (we received it at the age of 1 and loved it then as well!). Even my five year old loves all it! He finds little frogs and field mice tucked away in the full page illustrations and still finds the story to be entertaining even if it is a "baby book".

This makes a fun gift for friends and family celebrating 1st and 2nd birthdays, as well as a fun and light bedtime read for your own kids. Hopefully you'll love Baby Bear as much as we do!
