Heart Tree Centerpiece

Paper chain hearts are always fun!

We decorated for Valentines Day a little early this year since we didn't know when little sis would make her grand entrance. Here is our favorite craft so far!

Safety scissors are my favorite!!!

We decided our table needed a seasonal centerpiece and we had some fun sticks we wanted to craft with so we put the two together and came up with this!

We had to hurry at the end because I started to go into labor (never fails, the thing you're waiting for comes when you start a new project!) but we got it done and love it!

What You Need:
Paper (scrapbook, construction, or whatever paper you prefer)
Heart Stencil (for consistent sized and shaped hearts)
Scissors (we love these for really little ones!)
Glue
String
Small Sticks
Vase

All you need to do is cut out an even number of heart shapes (they need to be exactly the same size which is why the stencil helps). We used this pretty scrapbook paper but you could easily do varying shades of pink and red construction paper or design your own hearts on regular printer paper.

Glue a string between two hearts.

Allow to dry and then trim any excess as needed.

Once dry, hang them on your sticks!

This craft is super simple but adds a fun bit of rustic flair to all of the pinks and reds. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Happy Crafting! 💗
